St James Sequence Dance Club
Bridgnorth, Shropshire, UK
Want to keep fit? Why not try Sequence Dancing
Who we are
from the chairman
The club has been in existence for over 50 years & was started by a small group of friends as a social gathering. It was also formed to promote what was then called 'Old Time Dancing' within the Bridgnorth area.
Whilst we still include some 'Old Time Dancing' within our programmes the majority of our dances are 'Modern Sequence' which has now become very popular with a variety of new dances.
We do not claim to teach dancing, however, many members will assist beginners until they gain confidence in their own abilities.
All visitors & new members of any standard will be made most welcome.
Keep fit in body & mind.
Ar eyou thinking of taking up a new hobby, a beginner or already accomplished 'Sequence Dancer'? why not consider joining us. We welcome all ages, some of our members are in their 80's so your never too old. You might discover that dancing to our excellent music not only gives you gentle exercise & keeps you fit but you have the added bonus of the good company of friendly members too.
Visitors & new members are always welcome
We hold regular supper dances during the year, together with our annual dinner dance when an organist provides our music for dancing.
Our members meet at- Bridgnorth community Hall, Severn Street, Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
